Bike - personal best time ever :)

I drove my bike as fast as I was able... and I did my route in 1:08:40 - it means average speed about 32,5 km/h.

But I am afraid that my bike season is over... because I´ve got to take the older one to the kindergarden and it is possible only by car.

Route profile

This is a profile of my way from home to work I ride by bike (not) on daily basis. Just about six time a week (3 times there and 3 times back). For your information, in backward direction is it a profile of my way from work to home :)

I did it once in 1:10:30 h, it means average speed 31,5 km/h. Common average speed is about 30 km/h.

In the afternoon it looked like bright and sunny day...

Thursday
I tried to find easier way... 1:20 h in the morning.
In the afternoon 1:13 h. My person´s best time at this track. Average speed 30,5 km/h :)

Friday
I felt really tired in the morning - 1:18 h.
In the afternoon 1:15 h.

Saturday
I took my bike to a service shop... 9 km track, average speed 36 km/h.

I like it.

I want to ride my bike

It´s almost a month since my last. I know it but I´m lazy :)

What happend last (but not lost) month? Nothing special, just few activities:
horse riding, theater visit, swimming, tree climbing, spring-board jumping.
As I said, nothing special.

I like to bike. I really like it. The older one left us this Sunday for a week and I don´t have to carry this passenger whole week, so I decided to ride my bike every day. It´s better to bike than drive a car. Except the rain...

Who let the dogs out?

Let me introduce our dogs. The first one is a standard, walking-garbage-bin, stoopid, kids-friendly dog.
We call this dog-lady Laura. Or smeghead. Depends on situation. But we love her, of course.



This dog is my bedmate. I sleep really bad without him. The older daughter doesn´t like him. I don´t care. But she likes to hide it from me. As she did on Tuesday. Yes, I know I am a big, grown, independent man. But I wasn´t able to fall asleep, I awaked my wife several times with the question : Don´t you know where the dog is? And she didn´t response...
I found him in the morning, in the kids room, hidden in the middle of the heap of plush toys, looking at me with his tearful eyes...

Tuesday morning

Tuesday morning is the best morning of the week (of course, except mornings I have sex... :)
Tuesday morning is the best because of Robert´s show on Radio1.
He plays my favourite groups: KLF, Kraftwerk, Underworld, Daftpunk etc. It´s enough to have an ice day...

Yeah, and the answer to question What time is love? is simple... 3 a.m. eternal!

For those who still don´t understand: KLF IS GONNA ROCK YA!!!

Matter of choice

I´ve used to jog. But my ankles are in pain.
I´ve used to bike. But my knees are in pain.
I´ve used to play squash. But my backside is in pain.
I´ve used to parachute. But I feel real fear in the airplane.
I´ve used to have a sex. But I have no opponent for this game.

She is ...

Yes, today is the Day.
The youngest one can walk. Alone, with no help. She did it 362 days since her birth :)

And the older one is a very skilful girl. Look:
















She didn´t fall for two hours we spent at the playground.
But at home she dropped my new glasses and squelched it... in a second. :(

Whole-men only trip

The goal of this trip is to destroy ourselves...

At first every man has to buy some glass, load it into the bag and take care of it for two days.
At last there is a wish to (finally) take down the fucking boots.

If you are interested in this adventure, I have some remarks:
1. Even if you use a Garnier Anti-age formula creme to lubricate solid army boots, the boots will destroy your feets with no view to this fact.
2. Even if you decide to walk a shorter way, you´ll miss the train at least for four minutes.
3. Even if you think you are a strong man, in the end you´ll look like these guys...

Little Miss De-constructor

She is eleven. Eleven months old. Eleven months young...
She doesn´t know how to properly: walk, talk, eat, drink...
But she exactly knows how to disassemble remote controller to more pieces than is the number of pieces initially used for this device.
I love her :)

Chilli papaya

Life is strange. Monday, 12:13. Phone is ringing... so I pink up the phone :) D Smack U promotion. I won tickets to Papaya Paranoia performance. I found a party animal within an hour. Girl I´ve never seen before, just talked to via ICQ. Do you see the bright side of life?

Tuesday. About 1 p.m. I tried to pay my new glasses with VISA, but I couldn´t find it. F.ck!
Luckily I rememberd the last place where I used it and they told me that the card is in the bank now. But the recommendation is to destroy the card and wait for new one. No card, no money, no girls :).

We met an hour before the show, so we spent this time at the Bambus. Nice place. They prepared my beloved hot chocolate with chilli although it is not in the menu. And as I remember they also make great White russian. Bright side of life...

As I said, I won free entry. We came in with words: "Hi, I have to be in the Guest List because I won..."
- "Wait a moment... hmmm, no, you´re not here!"
- "WTF?" Still bright side of life?
We´ve been waiting for half an hour at foyer till they allowed us to go into the club... Because D Smack U did not send their list of winners. I felt like an idiot.

The show. One word: GREAT! This japanese band is really good. It sounds like a Prodigy and Hypnotix (Zuzana said...) together. They uses rough samples, hard beats, live guitar and drums and of course, I can´t forget, shamisen. If you have a chance, don´t hesitate and go! Thumbs up!!!

A night tree-climbing

Yes. Darwin´s theory of life is valid. We are monkeys. Fuck rigid Americans.
Try to imagine. There is a place in the world... It´s about 11 p.m. And only question you have in your mind is: What are Things to Do in This Place When You're Dead? Now you could know how I felt on Friday night. I was walking with no shadow of mine and then I remarked the Tree. Near by the river where the stars has been reflected (with my favorite Orion constellation in the top).
With the blank head I turned to monkey and I´ve climbed up the tree. What I felt? Exactly I don´t know. It was easy to climb up because of adrenaline, but there was no place to sit and darkness was all what I saw. After half an hour I climbed down and went to close railway station where nothing happened so I came back home. End of this story.

Exempla trahunt

There is a cold or flu about our family in last fourteen days. Me, smallest one, bigger one, wife, mother-in-law, smallest one, me, bigger one... Neverending story.
I decided to stay at home this Monday because mother-in-law has been looking very very tired. So we enjoyed it.
Veronika, older one, likes peanuts peeling. She came to me with the bowl of peanuts and we´ve peeled... There were no peanuts in the bowl but a huge mountain of the peels. Cold is often attached with the bark (I am not sure if this is right word, because dogs are barking...), and my darling barked. A little. The mountain of peels has moved. A little.
Then I saw the light in her eyes. I was able only to scream: NO, DON´T DO...
She´d draw a deep breath and blowed up the mountain...
So, I explained her that this is not a fun, we swept the mess, loaded it to a dustpan and with the words "please, don´t do it again" I missed the garbarge bin.

Girls - ladies - logic

My desperate wife is a standard model. Pretty, not overweighted, some times funny... you know. But as any other woman has she her weight in mind. She told me in the evening how slim does she look like and other people (except me, of course) notice that fact. But there are still four kilograms to be taken out. This morning she came to me with words: "...my weight is one kilogram more than I thought... it means I have to loose 4,5 kilograms...".
In this moment I tried to response: "OK, if you simply count 4 (yesterday´s) kilograms and (today´s) one, it is five..."
"BUT I DON´T WANT TO SPEAK IN THE HALF´S OF KILOGRAM"

Not-so-very-big-fish

My older daughter (39 months) tries to speek english. They (at the kindergarten) started with animals and because in the right moment I wasn´t able to tell her how to say velryba (whale) in english when she asked, I said "big fish"... (why I couldn´t remember the former NHL team Hartford Whalers?)
Now can I blame just myself because she will never never in her life say the proper word and whale is still simply "big fish".
And this is the blog about :)
From time to time I will write here something about... things I like.
Daughters, dog, guinea-pig, movies and other completely different things.
